3. Ordering
To order, add products to your basket, enter your contact details and delivery address, then complete payment. You will receive an email confirming that we have received your order. The contract is formed when we send you an email confirming that your order has been dispatched. We may refuse an order (for example if a product is out of stock, in case of an obvious pricing error, or if we suspect fraud); if so, you will be refunded in full.
You can change or cancel your order free of charge until it has been dispatched. Contact us as soon as possible at support@dashproof.co.uk.
4. Payment
Payment is due in full when you place your order. We accept card payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Cartes Bancaires and Maestro), PayPal, Apple Pay and Shop Pay. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we never have access to your full card details.
5. Delivery
We deliver to the United Kingdom only (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland). Tracked UK delivery costs £2.99 per order.
Processing time: 1 to 2 days (Monday to Friday)
Delivery time: 5 to 10 days (Monday to Friday)
Total delivery time: 6 to 12 days (Monday to Friday)
You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. Products are shipped from our partner warehouses overseas. Risk passes to you on delivery. If your parcel has not arrived 15 working days after dispatch, contact us: we will investigate with the carrier and, if the parcel is lost, send a replacement or issue a full refund. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
6. Your right to cancel (30 days)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days to cancel your order after receiving it. We extend this to 30 days from the day you receive your item, without giving any reason.
To cancel, tell us clearly by email at support@dashproof.co.uk (you may use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to). We will reply with the return address. You must send the item back within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel. You can also cancel online using our form: dashproof.co.uk/pages/eu-withdrawal-form
You pay the cost of returning the item, unless it is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered.
We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the item back, or within 14 days of receiving proof that you have sent it back if that comes first. We refund using the payment method you used for your order. Your refund includes the price of the item and the original standard delivery cost.
You may handle the item as you would in a shop to check that it works. If the item is returned incomplete or damaged because of handling beyond that, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value.
The practical steps are set out in our Refund & Returns Policy.
7. Your statutory rights
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full. Products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described:
- within 30 days of delivery, you can reject a faulty item and get a full refund;
- after 30 days, we will repair or replace the item; if that fails, you are entitled to a refund, which may be reduced to reflect the use you have had if you claim more than 6 months after delivery;
- you have up to 6 years (5 years in Scotland) to make a claim for a fault that existed at the time of delivery.
We pay the cost of returning a faulty, damaged or wrong item.
8. Liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our failure to comply with these Terms of Sale. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. A dash cam records footage but cannot guarantee that every event will be captured, or that footage will be accepted by an insurer or a court. Nothing in these Terms of Sale limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Personal data
We process your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. However, if you live in the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the part of the UK where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts where you live. If you have a dispute with us, we will first look for an amicable solution: please contact us at
support@dashproof.co.uk so that we can find a solution together (replacement, partial or full refund, etc.) before taking any legal action. In accordance with Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, if no amicable solution is found, you have the right, as a consumer, to use a consumer mediator free of charge to resolve the dispute. The contact details of the competent mediator are available on simple request at support@dashproof.co.uk.
