01 · Five cameras
Every side of the car, on one card.
One unit holds four cameras: front, left, right and cabin. Add the rear camera on its 6 m cable and the Argus records all around the car at the same time. The left, right and cabin lenses rotate, so you can aim each one.
To be straight with you: only the front camera is Full HD. The other four record in 480p, enough to show what happened, not fine detail like distant plates.
- Front in 1080p, 170° view
- Left, right, cabin and rear in 480p
- Rotating lenses on the sides and cabin
02 · Reversing view
A rear camera that also helps you park.
The rear camera records the road behind you. Wire its red lead to your reversing light and, when you select reverse, the screen switches to the rear view with guide lines.
- 6 m cable to the back window
- Guide lines on screen when reversing

03 · Wi-Fi + parking
Clips on your phone. Watch while you're away.
Connect to the camera's Wi-Fi with the free Viidure app to preview, download and share your clips.
With the 24h hardwire kit option, it stays powered when you park: a knock or collision starts a recording, and a voice alert tells you when you're back.
- Free app for Android and iOS
- Parking monitoring with the 24h kit
FAQ
Questions drivers ask before buying
Can't find your answer? Email support@dashproof.co.uk. A person replies within 24 working hours.
Do all five cameras record in Full HD?
No. The front camera records in 1080p (Full HD). The left, right, cabin and rear cameras record in 480p each. They show what happened around the car, but not fine detail like distant number plates.
Can I aim the side and cabin cameras?
Yes. The left, right and cabin lenses rotate by hand, so you can point them where you need them.
How does the reversing view work?
Connect the rear camera's red wire to your reversing light. When you select reverse, the screen switches to the rear camera with guide lines. If you're not comfortable with car wiring, an auto electrician can do it quickly.
Is a memory card included?
Yes, both kits come with a 64 GB microSD card. That's also the largest card it takes. Format it in the camera before first use.
Does it record when I'm parked?
Only with the 24h hardwire kit option, which connects the camera to your fuse box so it stays powered with the engine off. It then starts recording if it detects a knock or collision, and a voice alert tells you about it when you're back. Time-lapse recording is also available. If you'd rather not work on the fuse box yourself, any auto electrician can fit it.
Can I record my passengers?
In your own car, for personal use, yes. If you drive for work (taxi, private hire, deliveries), check your licensing authority's rules and tell passengers they're being recorded, for example with a sticker.
Will it fit my car?
It works on 12V and 24V, so cars, SUVs, vans and lorries are fine. It sticks to the windscreen near your rear-view mirror.
Why does my phone lose internet when I use the app?
Your phone connects to the camera's own Wi-Fi to download clips, so it can't use that connection for the internet at the same time. Disconnect once your clips are saved.
Is a dash cam legal in the UK?
Yes. It must not block your view of the road, so fit it behind the rear-view mirror, and don't handle it while driving.
Will my insurer and the police accept the footage?
Footage can help support your insurance claim or a police report. Each insurer and police force decides how they use it.
