Description & what's in the box
The Sentinel records the road ahead in Full HD, while two side cameras on the same unit cover the left and right. Both side lenses rotate, so you can aim them at the sides of the road or into the car.
Choose the 4-camera kit to add a rear camera on a 6 m cable. Both kits come with a 32 GB memory card and a built-in screen to check what's recording.
If there's a collision, the G-sensor locks the clip so loop recording can't overwrite it.

01 · Side cameras
See what comes from the left and right.
Two cameras on either side of the main unit cover the sides of the car, where lane changes and junction scrapes happen. Both lenses rotate, so you can aim them out of the side windows or into the cabin, and their infrared light helps in low light.
To be straight with you: the side cameras record in 720p. They show what happened, with less detail than the 1080p front.

Choose the 4-camera kit and a rear camera on a 6 m cable completes the picture: front, left, right and rear, all recording at the same time.

03 · Front + G-sensor
Full HD where it matters most.
The front camera records in 1080p with a 170° view, wide enough to take in several lanes. WDR balances bright skies and dark tunnels.
If there's a collision, the G-sensor locks the clip, and loop recording replaces the oldest footage so the card never fills up.

Which cameras do I get?
The 3-camera kit has a front camera plus left and right cameras, all on the main unit. The 4-camera kit adds a separate rear camera on a 6 m cable.
Do all the cameras record in Full HD?
No. The front camera records in 1080p (Full HD). The left, right and rear cameras record in 720p, so they show what happened around the car with less detail than the front.
Can the side cameras film inside the car?
Yes. Both side lenses rotate, so you can point them at the sides of the road or into the cabin. They have infrared light with a range of about 3 m for low light.
Is a memory card included?
Yes, both kits come with a 32 GB microSD card. The camera takes cards up to 64 GB. If you ever replace it, choose a high-endurance card made for constant recording.
Can I send clips to my phone?
No, the Sentinel has no Wi-Fi. Replay clips on its screen, or put the memory card in a computer to copy them.
Does it record when I'm parked?
Only with a hardwire kit (not included), which keeps it powered when the engine is off. It can then record when it detects movement around the car. Pick a kit with a low-voltage cut-off so it can't drain your battery.
Can I record my passengers?
In your own car, for personal use, yes. If you drive for work (taxi, private hire, deliveries), check your licensing authority's rules and tell passengers they're being recorded, for example with a sticker.
Will it fit my car?
Yes if your vehicle has a 12V socket: cars, SUVs and vans. It fixes to the windscreen with a suction mount.
Is a dash cam legal in the UK?
Yes. It must not block your view of the road, so fit it behind the rear-view mirror, and don't handle it while driving.
Will my insurer and the police accept the footage?
Footage can help support your insurance claim or a police report. Each insurer and police force decides how they use it.
