Description & what's in the box
A simple, affordable dash cam: the Echo records the road ahead in Full HD and shows it on a 3" screen. The 32 GB memory card is included, so it's ready to record out of the box.
Want more? The Front + Rear + Wi-Fi kit adds a rear camera and Wi-Fi, so you can watch and download your clips on your phone.
If something happens, the G-sensor saves the moment, and loop recording keeps the card from filling up.

01 · The essentials
Plug it in, and it records.
The Echo records the road ahead in Full HD 1080p at 30 fps and shows it on a 3" screen. The 32 GB card is already in the box, so there's nothing else to buy.
To be straight with you: it's a basic dash cam. Its 120° view is narrower than many, so it covers less of the lanes either side.
- 1080p at 30 fps on the front
- 3" screen to check the view
- 32 GB card included
02 · Rear + Wi-Fi (option)
Add the back, and your phone.
The Front + Rear + Wi-Fi kit adds a rear camera and Wi-Fi. The rear camera covers what happens behind the car, and the app lets you watch and download your clips on your phone.
To be straight with you: the rear camera shows less detail than the front.
- Rear camera for the road behind
- Clips to your phone over Wi-Fi

03 · G-sensor + loop
Old footage out, incidents kept.
When the card is full, loop recording replaces the oldest footage, so you never have to clear it. If there's an incident, the G-sensor automatically records the scene before and after it.
- Loop recording, no card to empty
- Incidents saved by the G-sensor
FAQ
Questions drivers ask before buying
Can't find your answer? Email support@dashproof.co.uk. A person replies within 24 working hours.
Does it have a rear camera?
Only with the Front + Rear + Wi-Fi kit, which adds a rear camera. The Front version films the road ahead only.
Can I send clips to my phone?
Only with the Front + Rear + Wi-Fi kit, which connects to your phone over Wi-Fi with an app. The Front version has no Wi-Fi: replay clips on its screen, or put the memory card in a computer to copy them.
Will I be able to read number plates?
The front camera records in Full HD 1080p. It clearly shows what happened, and plates of cars close to you are usually readable in good light. Its 120° view is narrower than many dash cams, so it covers less of the lanes either side. The optional rear camera shows less detail than the front.
Is a memory card included?
Yes, both kits come with a 32 GB microSD card. That's also the largest card it takes, and the maker recommends using its own card, so keep the one in the box.
Does it record when I'm parked?
Its G-sensor can start a recording if it detects a knock while the car is parked, but the camera has to stay powered with the engine off. That needs a hardwire kit (not included). Pick one with a low-voltage cut-off so it can't drain your battery.
Will it fit my car?
Yes if your vehicle has a 12V socket: cars, SUVs and vans. It fixes to the windscreen with a suction mount.
Why does my phone lose internet when I use the app?
Your phone connects to the camera's own Wi-Fi to download clips, so it can't use that connection for the internet at the same time. Disconnect once your clips are saved.
Is a dash cam legal in the UK?
Yes. It must not block your view of the road, so fit it behind the rear-view mirror, and don't handle it while driving.
Will my insurer and the police accept the footage?
Footage can help support your insurance claim or a police report. Each insurer and police force decides how they use it.
