Description & what's in the box
After a collision, most arguments come down to one question: who is telling the truth? The Vista 4K answers it. It records the road ahead in 4K, every time you drive.
Want the road behind you too? Choose the Front + Rear option: a 1080p rear camera on a 6 m cable records at the same time as the front.
If something happens, the G-sensor locks the clip so it can't be recorded over. Replay it on your phone over Wi-Fi, right there at the roadside, and send it to your insurer or the police.

Not included: a microSD card. Use a Class 10 card of 32 to 128 GB, ideally a high-endurance one made for constant recording.
No GPS: the footage doesn't record your speed or location.
Parking monitoring: only with a hardwire kit, which we don't sell. If you add one yourself, choose one with a low-voltage cut-off so it can't drain your battery.
12V vehicles only (cars, SUVs and most vans). For 24V vehicles such as lorries, add a 24V to 12V converter.

Will it fit my car?
- Yes for cars, SUVs and most vans with a 12V socket.
- Not for 24V vehicles (lorries, some large vans) unless you add a 24V to 12V converter.
- The front camera sticks behind your rear-view mirror. With the Front + Rear option, the rear camera goes inside, at the top of the rear window.
- The rear camera's 6 m cable is long enough for most hatchbacks, saloons and estates. For long vans, check the distance first.

01 · Front camera
Read the plate, not a blur.
The front camera records real 4K (3840 × 2160) through a Sony IMX415 sensor and a bright f/1.6 lens. Its 170° view takes in the lanes on either side, so a car cutting in doesn't slip out of shot.

02 · Rear camera (option)
Half the story happens behind you.
Shunts at traffic lights, tailgaters, someone reversing into you in a car park. Choose the Front + Rear option and a 1080p rear camera records at the same time as the front, with its own Sony sensor and a 140° view.
To be straight with you: 1080p is less sharp than the 4K front. But it clearly shows what happened.

Clips on your phone, ready to send.
The Vista has a built-in 1.97" screen. Connect your phone to the camera's Wi-Fi with the free app and save the footage as an MP4, ready to email to your insurer.

Questions drivers ask before buying

Will I really be able to read number plates?
That's what the 4K front camera is for. In good conditions, plates of the cars around you are readable. Like any camera, distance, speed, heavy rain and direct glare all reduce detail, so no dash cam can promise every plate in every situation.
Does it come with a rear camera?
Only if you choose the Front + Rear option. You then get a 1080p rear camera and a 6 m cable, and both cameras record at the same time. The Front only version films the road ahead.
Is the rear camera as good as the front?
No. The optional rear camera records in 1080p, so it's less sharp than the 4K front. It clearly shows what happened behind you, but reading a plate from a distance is harder.
Is a memory card included?
No. You need a Class 10 microSD card of 32 to 128 GB. Choose a high-endurance card made for constant recording: cheap, slow cards are the most common cause of dash cam problems.
Will it fit my car?
Yes if your vehicle has a 12V socket: cars, SUVs and most vans. It isn't suitable for 24V vehicles such as lorries unless you add a 24V to 12V converter.
Does it record when I'm parked?
Only with a hardwire kit (not included), which keeps it powered when the engine is off. Pick one with a low-voltage cut-off so it can't drain your battery.
Does it have GPS?
No, GPS isn't included, so the footage doesn't record your speed or location.
Why does my phone lose internet when I use the app?
Your phone connects to the camera's own Wi-Fi to download clips, so it can't use that connection for the internet at the same time. Disconnect once your clips are saved.
Is a dash cam legal in the UK?
Yes. It must not block your view of the road, so fit it behind the rear-view mirror, and don't handle it while driving.
Will my insurer and the police accept the footage?
Footage can help support your insurance claim or a police report. Each insurer and police force decides how they use it.
